Welcome to Tate Island Lodge

Tate Island Lodge has been a fixture on Reindeer Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada for outstanding fishing and hunting for over 50 years. We are located mid lake in the middle of the action…fishing starts at the dock.

Originally started as an outpost, the exceptional fishing found close to the island elevated demand and the lodge was transitioned to a stand alone, independent operating lodge and hasn’t looked back. Our guests enjoy the best fishing that Reindeer Lake has to offer.

  You could not ask for a better adventure. You would think that by going so far north that you'd be sacrificing amenities but it's far from it. Beautiful lodge, warm showers, amazing food and great owners. Truly a classy lodge in a beautiful place and a tremendous fishery. It is a fisherman's paradise but you don't have to be one to enjoy this place.

  My son Brian and I have been to the lodge the last two seasons. The hospitality is 5 Stars, the accommodation is 5 stars, the fishing was better than 5 stars as I had the best day in my 50 years plus of fishing, Henry our guide 5 stars, Trevor, Randy and Karen are just absolutely wonderful they make you feel so welcome. We are going again in 2022.
